ABC has confirmed that American Idol will wrap up on Sunday (May 18) with a three hour finale event to crown the next winner! And, they also confirmed the season finale of America’s Funniest Home Videos will air right before at 7pm, if you also watch.
Meanwhile, tonight’s Top 8 will see another 2 contestants eliminated, but the judges will be able to make a save. Tonight is the “Judge’s Song Contest” week, where Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie or Carrie Underwood secretly select a song for a contestant to sing. Jelly Roll is also involved as the artist-in-residence.
