Saturday Night Live is coming to the United Kingdom!

On Thursday (April 10), it was announced that a British version of the legendary sketch comedy show will be premiering in 2026.

Creator and producer Lorne Michaels is also set to executive produce the upcoming UK version, which will air on channels Sky Max and NOW.

“A star-studded lineup of hosts will take to the stage to declare, ‘Live from London, it’s Saturday Night!’ in this brand-new edition of the programme,” a press release from Sky read.

It continued, “The London-based series will follow the same live, fast-paced style that has made the show a cultural phenomenon with iconic hosts, musical guests and a core cast of the funniest British comedians around.”

Cecile Frot-Coutaz, CEO of Sky Studios, also made a statement about the upcoming show.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Lorne and the SNL team to bring an all-British version of the show to UK audiences next year – all live from London on Saturday night!” she said.

The cast and official release date of SNL UK have yet to be revealed.
