“Never give up. You have to believe it. If you believe it and you see it, it can happen. You said you had a lot of rejections and it’s been a hard year. Well, you know, before I did this, nobody would take me serious,” Nicole said.

She continued, “They wouldn’t let me audition for musicals on TV. They wouldn’t see me for musicals on film. So six years ago, in 2019, I created my own show. I put my own money and I invited people to come. I brought it to NY, I brought it to London, and I brought it to LA. I put it out there in the universe and I said, ‘Well if you don’t understand and you don’t know me, then I’m going to educate you on who I am.’ And I did that.”

“So you have to create it yourself. You have it within you. If you have that desire in you, God put that desire in your heart for a reason. Okay? Follow your heart,” Nicole concluded.

Nicole is currently nominated for Best Actress in a Musical for her work in Sunset Blvd. She was joined at the Tony nominees event by her co-star Tom Francis and director Jamie Lloyd.

Nicole recently revealed the job she had to give up to be on Broadway.
