Some of Broadway’s biggest stars and some of the stars of the Smash television show were among the opening night guests for Smash on Broadway!
Kristin Chenoweth and Sarah Jessica Parker are among the celebs who walked the red carpet for the opening night performance on Thursday (April 10) at the Imperial Theatre in New York City.
SJP was joined by her husband Matthew Broderick and their 15-year-old twin daughters Marion and Tabitha.
Debra Messing, Christian Borle, and Wesley Taylor, who were all featured on the NBC series Smash, stepped out to watch the new stage version. The musical is inspired by the series and is not a direct adaptation.
More celebs who attended the event included Nathan Lane, Billy Crystal, Julianna Margulies, Victor Garber, Yvette Nicole Brown, Andrew Rannells, Jordan Roth (who had a cameo on the TV show), Amanda Kloots, and Patti Murin.
