Jay Duplass is revealing if we’ll be seeing him in the upcoming second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

The 52-year-old actor was a guest star in the first season, where he played Hades, the god of the Underworld.

According to a character description, “Hades feels like an outcast from his family and a misunderstood genius. He holds a grudge for past wrongs and plays his cards close to the chest.”

During a recent interview at the premiere of his new FX show Dying For Sex, Jay confirmed whether or not he will be reprising the role in season two.

“I am not in season two,” he told People, but teased, “there have been some potential droppings about season 3.”

“I love being a part of the show,” Jay added. “It’s the first show I’ve ever been in that my kids can watch. It’s not just that my kids can watch it. Percy Jackson is literally my children’s favorite piece of art ever – the book series.”

Jay shared that his kids were impressed with his portrayal!

“There was a little bit of pressure to do right by Hades and for the show to be great, and they’re so thrilled with it,” he said. “It’s really been a special gift for my whole family that I get to play that man from down under.”
