Jesse Plemons is the latest star to join the new Hunger Games film!
The 37-year-old actor will star as Plutarch Heavensbee in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping.
Previous cast additions include newcomer Joseph Zada as young Haymitch Abernathy, Whitney Peak as Lenore Dove Baird, and Mckenna Grace as Maysilee Donner.
The late Philip Seymour Hoffman played Jesse‘s role in the original Hunger Games franchise. You’ll remember, he’s a future gamemaker for the Games, and ended up being a rebellion leader as well.
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is set for release in theaters on November 20, 2026 with Francis Lawrence returning to direct. Stay tuned as we learn more about castings!
