‘Heroes’ Actor Greg Grunberg Explains Why He Suddenly Went Bald | Greg Grunberg | Just Jared: Celebrity News and Gossip

Greg Grunberg is being transparent about his health.

The 58-year-old actor explained to fans in a recent video that he reason he suddenly went bald is due to alopecia.

“I, all of a sudden, got alopecia and I knew nothing about it. I’m still learning about it,” he said.

The Heroes star said he believes that the hair-loss disease was triggered by his knee-replacement surgery.

“I think it shocked the alopecia into, you know, actually presenting itself. I think I probably had it dormant in my body for a long time,” he said.

Greg is also keeping a positive attitude about his condition, and has done extensive research about coping strategies.
