The second season of Wild Cards is on the way!
The CBC/The CW series returns with new episodes in the new year, with stars Vanessa Morgan and Giacomo Gianniotti reprising their roles.
As a refresher, the procedural with a comic twist follows a spirited con woman (Morgan) and a demoted by-the-book detective (Gianniotti) are given the chance to redeem themselves. The catch? They have to find a way to work together each using their unique skills to solve crimes.

In season two, as Ellis (Gianniotti) is arresting Max (Morgan) for her elaborate con, she blindsides him with info about his brother’s killer. Now the stakes are raised both in the cases they solve…and their feelings for each other.
Also starring in the show are Amy Goodmurphy, Michael Xavier, Terry Chen, Fletcher Donovan and Jason Priestley.
Guest stars this season include Ally Sheedy, Marie Avgeropolous, Tony D’Angelo and Martin Sheen.
Wild Cards is set to premiere on Wednesday, January 8th on CBC in Canada, and on Wednesday, February 5th at 8pm ET/PT on The CW in the US. Check out the trailer now!
