Minka Kelly is continuously impressed by her boyfriend Dan Reynolds.
If you didn’t know, the Imagine Dragons front man makes a cameo in the 9th episode of Minka‘s new Netflix series Ransom Canyon. In a recent interview, the 44-year-old actress opened up about working with her beau on set.
“He came to visit and everyone, all the producers and writers, just naturally fell in love with him, like you do. It’s easy to love Dan,” she told People.
Minka also revealed that Dan‘s appearance in the show happened spontaneously.

“They just asked one day, ‘Do you think he’d play this character?’ And I just was like, ‘Let me ask him.’ And he was such a good sport and down to play,” she said.
She then said she was surprised by the 37-year-old musician’s nerves during filming, given that he frequently performs in massive stadiums.
“I’m like, how could you be nervous? With what you do? I guess it’s just a different environment,” she said.
Minka and Dan have been officially linked since 2022, and are still going strong in 2025. In a recent interview, Dan revealed how he and Minka were first introduced.
